This course fulfills the training requirement for obtaining a Maryland Handgun Qualification License (HQL). It is designed to certify that you have satisfied the basic firearms fundamentals to purchase and possess a firearm for home and self-defense. Duration: 4 Hours Note: If you are a beginner or need a refresher, the Basic Firearm Course is strongly recommended prior to enrolling into the Handgun Qualification License course.
